We love our Happycall pan which is made in Korea.The pan's product design has won us over. Find out more at our photo journal page. I would say Seoul is one of our most loved city. There is so much design and construction going on.

Recently we have read alot of online press about this product. We love our Happycall pan; which was invented in 2002 by Happycall co Ltd. It was awarded the Gold Award at the Seoul invention fair 2002.The pan's product design has won us over. First of all the Happycall brand pans is available in different designs and size. This images was taken on one of our trips to E-MART. E-MART is one of South Korea's largest retail chain. FLIP pan in red seen here is a smaller size pan. Yes frying fish is make easier now.

We decided for our kitchen the larger pan size is better.Its ideal for our one dish meal. For me lifting the pan the first time felt heavy.It has a quality build by having 3layers of ceramic. You soon get use to the weight as it is like lifting 2 frying pan. As the Happycall FLIP is like normal pan but with a cover. Usually you need to flip the food you cooking with a spatula. The Happycall design allows you to just FLIP over the pan to cook the other side without the use of a spatula.

Happycall has found a way to keep juice and oil mostly sealed inside the pan. There is a collection opening located where the red rubber seal is split.The opening is for receiving oil or water flown down from the upper pan.You can see the red rubber seal in the photo. The pan is coated with non stick layer making easier to cooking and cleaning.

The magnet in handle is an effective method of matching the two halves of the pan quickly and firmly. To me It feels secure and durable.The build of the pan is well constructed and can be heavy to use in the larger size. So far its okay for us. Just wanted to share our experience using the Happycall FLIP pan. I believe more will be written about this product as more people get to know about it's design feature. The pan is a useful propduct desgn which also seal in hot oil and water needed during cooking process. We enjoy using this product and wanted to share with you. If you have time you should try taking the bus. One of the easiest way to travel from the airport is by using the Airport bus.Tickets are purchased directly at the counter at the airport terminal. You can also chose to take the train. For us the bus is good as we don't have to deal with the crowd and interchange when using the train station. For us i think the bus has a better viewing height compared to the taxi. As the bus allows us the higher viewing advantage. Although the trip is longer compared to taxi the bus is fine with us as a way of seeing the country.

Sometime back we jump on a plane and decided to visit Jeju island. As we have heard so much about this island from our korean friends. Jeju did not disappoint. What a romantic island.Jeju even has a convention centre. Ther must have the need for the exhibition space. The Duty free is also located there. There is a garden area behind the convention centre and the Cherry blossom was seen there.Although only a small area it was enough as its beautifully presented.

You can walk around the small island but it could be smarter to rent a car. We were told by the tour that the tangerine plays an important role for the island's R&D. Jeju being located lower south has nice tropical climate for growing.

The island has impressive scenic view. This rock face is one of my favourite with its cube formation on the cliff face.

Not sure where this is on the island. It was used for several drama series. Had a great hike to the loookout tower and the view of the coast line is misty due to the rain.

Staring out of the hotel's window we admire the landscape of itewan area. The art galllery is just down the road and its a interestring area to visit Itewan i mean.

Every city has a tourist spot . Seoul is no different the image shown above N Seoul tower located at Namsan. Its a must go place.

Sometime ago we were invited by Asean centre Korea to visit several design consultants in South Korea as a way for the governmnet to promote the advantages of using Industrial design.

Doota shopping centre is a good place to see examples of the seasonal trend of the ever evolving korean fashion.

I specially like this building design which has alot more graphical; element in its architecture. Its an older design but still looks interesting and grand.

During our travel its always good to stop and look down at the metal casting covers on the street. I think it reflects abit of the design flavour of the country.

Namdaemun is said to be the better place to buy wholesale children clothes. Not just for kids but also for grownup as seen below. We prefer Dongdaemun market at night. The Dongdaemun market at wholesale section is a much better place to shop.

Interesting to have seen ThaiExpress in Korea in this manner. As it is far more trendy branding experience compared to in Singapore. But still have not visited ThaiExpress for sometime in Singapore.

We enjoy dining at such small restaurant. with around 12 tables. Take note of creative wall decoration. Koreans has a very distinct Grilling culture. This restaurant offers beef steak strip and belly pork for grill. KimChi aas usaul is free and refilled. Care is taken to ensure that individual griller area's smoke through tub which leads up the ceiling to vent out of the restaurant fast. Jackets and Coats are keep in a plastic bag offered at the restaurant.

Have you ever notice the increasing variety coffee houses. Adding some very interesting choices.

Do take time to visit a Dragon hill Spa in seoul. It 7 flour of fun. Well it divided into male and female only areas. There is a common area where both sex can use the traditional wood oven to sweat yourself back to health. Its worth looking at taking a rest time at one of these Spa. You have to change into shorts and T-shirts which is provided. Bathing essentials are provided. Most important there are lockers for luggage. We seen a few caucasian during our stay.

The stone is the only support for the bench. Interesting design.

The super market is the best place to learn about the country. Its consuming taste and habits.

Korean drama are well know for its soju drinking scene at the road side eating place. So soju in small green bottles is not uncommon. This time we have noticed the large bulk size soju bottles.

Every city has its own way of recycling which is firmilar to most asian countries. Recycling cart are sometime hard to spot in the city. As the people consume power increase there is more to recycle.
